Hi !

Maybe JAPAN ? :)
I choose this place because last month I talked with my friend about it. He was there and he told me that it's amazing country. He was totally enraptured with this.
He told me a lot of interesting things and instilled in me desire to visit Japan.
Generally Japan consists of over 6,800 islands !! Located in the Pacific Ocean.


 So it's time to .... ;>

5 interesting facts about JAPAN!

1. In contrast to Poland black cats are considered to bring good luck in Japan - if the see a black cat crossing their path , they say konichiwa and then waiting for good luck

2. Japanese employers allow to workers to sleep at work, it's viewed as exhaustion from working hard. They think that if you tired you can commit more mistakes. Employees can take a 30-minute siesta

3. During Christmas Eve in Japan traditional foods is . . . KFC! A lot of people have spent this day queueing at KFC 

4. In Japan are the worst (in my opinion) competition in the world. It's called "Crying Sumo". The wrestlers try to make baby cry ! The baby who cries first is crowned the winner. Sumo wrestlers shake the babies and make noises to get them to cry firt and win the competition. 



5. In Japan we have oportunity to spend time in cat cafe. Is a type of coffee shop where we can play with cats but also we foung there something to eat and drink. There are various types of cat cafe : black cats, fat cats, rare cats and more :)

Hi !

I hope that the last post was interesting :)
Today I'd like to tell something about THAILAND!
Thailand is the second place on earth that I'd like to visit.
Generally is situated at the centre of the Indochinese peninsula in Southeast Asia.


5 interesting facts about Thailand :

1. When it comes to food...When I was thinking about Thailand I was convinced that people use chopsticks to eat but NOT! Maybe it's strange but Thais eat a lot of dishes with a spoon and fork. They say that it's easier to shovel food into one's mouth :)

2. It's necessary to remember that Thais are very religious. Buddihism is practiced by almost 94% of the population. It's forbidden to insult the Buddha and the Royal Family for example we can't trample and destroy money with their image.

3. Each year in Thailand are organised The Monkey Buffet Festival! Generally Thais believes that monkey's bring fortune to the visitors and the main intention of this festival is giving fruits and vegetables to the nerly 2000 monkey's. Everything is on the big table because people derive pleasure from this viev.

4. Red bull - this energy drink, I think everyone knows but not everyone knows that comes from Thailand. Before it's called Krating Daeng.

5. We're lucky if the capital of Thailand is known as Bangkok because the real name is one of longest names in the world!

Hi!

Today I would like to tell a few interesting facts about an island in Indonesia - BALI !
It's my dream to see this island with one's own eyes, maybe in the future I'll have opportunity to go there :) Below I published 5 facts and I hope that it will be interesting for you :)






5 Amazing facts about Bali :


1.  Nyepi Day "Day od Silence" - This day is only celebrated in Bali on march, the whole island have a ban to use lights or candles, no cars, no motorbikes, no people on the road, shops are closed and also the airport. It's forbidden talking, eating, working and travelling. The silence begins at 6:00 am and will go on until the next 24 hours.

2. Coffee is the most popular beverages in the world but not everyone knows that the most expensive coffee in the world comes from Bali. The prices reaching 550 per kilogram. It's called Kopi Luwak and also cat poop coffee. It's very strange but the beans comes from digestion of Civat Cats - are the small mammals.

3. In Bali most people practise Balinele Hinduism it's formed of local beliefs and Hindu. Generaly it's a little bit strange because Indonesia is Muslim country.

4. In Bali we can find a lot of people who has one of the four names :
    - Wayan it means first born
    - Made it means second born
    - Nyoman it means third born
    - Ketut it means fourth born
The fifth baby is again Wayan!

5. Bali has only two seasons !
    - The dry seasion ( Abril to October)
    - The wet seasion ( October to Abril)

Hi ! 

My name's Patrycja, I'm studying spanish philology in Poznan :)
Like every young person I have a lot of hobbys, for example I'm fond of reading a book especially detective novels but the most I love travelling.
For years I've travelled with my family around Europe, for example I was in Spain, France, Italy, Germany, Greece but my dream is to visit more exotic countries outside the Europe.
Here I want to present places which I've never seen before but I want to.
My notes will contain descriptions of culture, cuisine, monuments and a lot of other things.
